Taking inspiration from the native Mingimingi plant, this playground was designed to reflect the character and resilience of New Zealand’s natural divaricating shrubs. Sculpted landforms, accessible play elements, timber detailing and a restrained planting palette combine to create a rich play experience that encourages curiosity, exploration and connection with the outdoors. Every element was thoughtfully composed to provide an inclusive, engaging and enduring community space.
